Can you have medicaid and another insurance?

i really need braces and i have medicaid, therefore it doesnt cover any costs. So i heard of like Ameriplan.com and i guess they have good deals. So i was just wondering if i could have both insurances. The ameriplan is just going to be for my teeth and the medicaid is for all my other health i guess, Also any cheap places in michigan to get braces? like near canton or wayne or dearborn? thanks
