Would you like to be parenting teenagers today with so much bad going on? ?

I think part of the problem parents are having today is that they are unable to discipline the kids without being reported for child abuse. Also, schools are telling small children to call 911 if the parents swat them. I know that some parents go too far in the discipline, but for the most part, parents are doing the best that they can. And yes, you are very correct in that the media is in part to blame. As for what I would do to fix the things that are so wrong today, perhaps neighborhood programs as well as houses of worship could set up activities for area families. This could include fishing, biking, going to the park...something, anything other than watching television. Thanks for a very interesting question!
